Meet Our Staff
Katie Thompson, a Fremont native, has been with Christensen Corporation since March 2009. Katie joined the group with 9 years of property management experience. Her past duties ranged from being a leasing agent and corporate housing specialist at one of Omaha’s largest property management companies to working as a housing coordinator for a medical company placing traveling nurses nationwide in temporary housing. Katie, a former Deerfield apartment dweller herself, understands what it is like to search for a comfortable place to call home. She’ll listen attentively to you and your needs as she helps you find the apartment home that will best suit you. Katie lives in Omaha and enjoys spending time with her family.
Diane Rohloff is our versatile Bookkeeper. Diane hails from Cedar Rapids, IA, moving here in the mid 80’s to attend Fremont’s own Midland Lutheran College. She earned a BS / BA degree with an emphasis in management and marketing. Since then she has worked in accounting positions in Fremont and Omaha, including over 10 years in the leasing industry. In her spare time, she fancies reading, scrapbooking, and watching her twin teenage boys compete in their various sporting events.
Dave Schlautman is our skillful Maintenance Manager. Dave received his associate degree in HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) from Vatterott College and is also CAMT certified (a nationally recognized designation for apartment maintenance technicians). When not solving problems at the apartments, he enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his girlfriend and dogs.
Brad Schiermeyer is our amicable Chief of Operations. Brad is a Fremont native and Midland Lutheran College graduate and has been with the Christensen Corporation for 14 years. He previously worked as Service Manager for Dillons and as an independent contractor. Brad is a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (a nationally recognized designation) and also has certification as a Pool Operator. When Brad isn't tending to corporate operations, you can find him spending time with his wife and two daughters.
